SAN DIEGO - San Diego State women's soccer head coach Mike Friesen announced the team's spring schedule. The Aztecs will play six games between March and May, all against teams they haven't faced in over a year.

The Aztecs will start the spring season on the road as they take on Loyola Marymount on March 12 at noon. SDSU hasn't faced LMU since 2008, which finished in a 0-0 tie.

On March 25, San Diego State will play host to Point Loma Nazarene at 3 p.m., before heading to Temecula, Calif., to face Saint Mary's, a team it hasn't seen since 1997. Game time has yet to be determined.

Later in the season, the Aztecs will battle UC Irvine on April 16 at 10 a.m., in Irvine, Calif., for the first time since 2009. The Aztecs have a 9-4-3 record against the Anteaters. UCI advanced to the third round of the 2010 NCAA tournament this past fall, where it fell to Washington, 1-0.

On April 23, SDSU will welcome the San Diego Sea Lions to Montezuma Mesa for a 11 a.m. contest and will close out the spring at home vs. the Aztec Alumni at 1 p.m. on May 1.

Three of the spring season games are scheduled to be played at SDSU Sports Deck. This past fall, the Aztecs were 6-4-2 when playing on their home turf.
