ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - Junior Shanae Roach set the 200-meter dash school record for the second consecutive day to lead San Diego State to a fourth-place finish at the 2011 Mountain West Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships Saturday in Albuquerque, N.M.

Roach, who yesterday broke Tonette Dyer's 2004 indoor record with a time of 23.73 seconds, ran 23.45 to finish second in today's final. Roach also finished second in the 60 in 7.38, which matched Karoline Koehler (2010) for the second-fastest time in program history and set a new junior class record.

The Aztecs finished fourth in the championships with 84.5 points, just 5.5 behind host New Mexico. No. 10 Brigham Young won the nine-team meet with 181.5 points, followed by 16th-ranked TCU (107), the Lobos (90), SDSU, Utah (71.5), Wyoming (56), UNLV (39), Colorado State (26) and Air Force (17.5).
