SAN DIEGO - The No. 60 San Diego State women's tennis team will travel to Honolulu, Hawaii this weekend for a pair of matches. SDSU will face Cal State Northridge at 11 a.m. HT on Friday and then finish the weekend with a contest against Hawai'i at 11 a.m. HT on Saturday.
The Aztecs will be looking to snap a four-match losing streak after last weekend's contest with No. 46 Long Beach State was canceled due to rain. That matchup has now been rescheduled for noon PT on Friday, March 4 at the Aztec Tennis Center.
SDSU picked up a close win against Hawai'i last season at the Aztec Tennis Center. After winning doubles point, the Aztecs carried the momentum into singles play and defeated the Rainbow Wahine, 4-3. Before facing SDSU (3-4) on Friday, Cal State Northridge and Hawai'i will face off on Wednesday in a 1:30 p.m. HT showdown.
The Aztecs currently have two doubles teams ranked, as the duo of Alicia Aguilar and Julia Wais are ranked No. 46 and sisters Roxanne Ellison and Sierra Ellison are No. 53 in the nation.
