SAN DIEGO - The San Diego State volleyball program has announced that its annual summer camps will be held during the month of July in Peterson Gym on the SDSU campus. Players can choose one of three sessions to meet their needs and skill level.

The All Skills Camp will be held Sunday-Tuesday, July 10-12 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day. The All Skills Camp is open to any and all athletes of all levels in grades 5-12 who are looking to develop their game. Campers will learn the essential skills of volleyball in a fun and competitive environment. Drills and instruction will be modified and challenging for both beginning and experienced athletes.

The Elite Camp will take place Monday-Thursday, July 18-21. This camp is open to high school aged players and is designed for the serious athlete looking to advance their volleyball career. Campers will learn fundamental skills in all phases of the game and be challenged individually and in game-like situations during this premier.

There will also be a team camp which is scheduled for Friday-Sunday, July-22-24. The San Diego State Volleyball Team Camp is available to any and all programs looking to give their team an added edge before the upcoming season. Sessions include drills that focus on offensive & defensive schemes which will enable coaches and their teams to hone in on skill development and competition each day.

The instructional staff for each camp is headed by San Diego State Head Coach Deitre Collins-Parker, a former two-time NCAA national player of the year and Olympic team member. The staff also includes current SDSU assistant coaches Kele Eveland, Andrea Leonard and Mike Terrill along with current SDSU players.
