* San Diego State breaks the school record for victories in a single season with 27. The previous record of 26 was set during the 2008-09 campaign.
* Regardless of what happens the rest of the day, San Diego State leads the county in victories (27) and winning percentage (96.4 percent).
* San Diego State continues the best start in school history. The 27-1 record after 28 games is three games better than the previous best 28-game record. The 1966-67 Aztecs were 24-4 playing at the Division II level.
* The Aztecs improve to 12-1 in league play, which is the best Mountain West start in school history and marks the first time in 90 years of basketball that San Diego State has won 12 of its first 13 conference games.
* San Diego State has won 36 straight games vs. unranked teams at any location.
* The Aztecs have won seven consecutive games, 27 of its last 28 games (27-1), 32 of its last 34 games (32-2) and 36 of its last 39 games (36-3).

GAME NOTES
* San Diego State enjoyed a 19-2 advantage in second-chance points.
* San Diego State benefitted from a +2 rebound margin today (50-27). It is the second highest rebound margin for the Aztecs this season, trailing the +29 advantage SDSU enjoyed against Occidental (12-31-10). It is the 11th time this seasoin SDSU has had at least a 10-rebound advantage.
* Season highs set today: free throws made (24), offensive rebounds (21) and total rebounds (50, ties).
*  San Diego State trailed at intermission for the fifth time this season after connecting on 10-for-33 (30.3 percent) in the first half. That is a season low for field goal percentage in a half for the Aztecs.

Had three blocked shots and now has recorded a blocked shot in 13 consecutive games... Thomas has three 20-point games this season, seven in his Aztec career and 10 in his college career... San Diego State is 7-0 when Thomas reaches 20 points.

* Kawhi Leonard (18 points, game-high 15 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals, 9-10 FTs) - Recorded his 19th double-double of the season and the 36th of his career... He has five double-doubles in his last six games... Leonard has reached double figures in six straight games... Had his 24th double-figure scoring game of the season and the 48th of his career... Led the team in rebounding for the 20th time this season.

* Chase Tapley (10 points, career-high 8 rebounds) - Tapley came off the bench to score 10 points and add a career-high eight rebounds... The sophomore reached double figures for the 10th time this season and the 23rd time in his career... This was Tapley's first game in double figures since Wyoming (1-29-11)... Has a three-point field goal in a season-best eight consecutive games.

* D.J. Gay (9 points, game-high 5 assists) - Had five assists to go along with nine points... Has three or more assists in six consecutive games... Had one turnover, marking the ninth time in the last 10 games that he has had one turnover or less.
