TEAM NOTES
* SDSU, which had no seasons with 25-plus in its first 87 years as a program, now has recorded 25 or more victories in three consecutive seasons.

* San Diego State continues its best start to a season with record of 25-1. Prior to this season, the Aztecs' best record after 26 games was 22-4 in 1966-67 when the Aztecs played at the Division II level.

* With Ohio State's loss earlier today, there are no remaining undefeated teams and San Diego State joins Ohio State and Kansas as the only one-loss teams in Division I.

* San Diego State's 25 victories are more than any other team in the country and is tied for the second most in a single-season in school history, trailing only the 26-10 record compiled by the 2008-09 squad. Last year's squad finished with a record of 25-9.

* The Aztecs improve to 10-1 in league play, which is the best Mountain West start in school history and marks the first time in 90 years of basketball that San Diego State has won 10 of its first 11 conference games.

* With 10 conference wins, San Diego State has reached double-digit conference wins for a school-record third consecutive year. This is just the 10th time in 90 years of basketball that the Aztecs have won at least 10 league games.

* San Diego State has won 34 straight games vs. unranked teams at any location.

* The Aztecs have won five consecutive games, 25 of its last 26 games (25-1), 30 of its last 32 games (30-2) and 34 of its last 37 games (34-3).

* Of SDSU's 25 victories this season, 13 have been at road/neutral sites. Nine wins, including tonight's decision, have been true road victories. Among San Diego State's quality road wins are victories at Gonzaga, New Mexico, UNLV, Colorado State, Long Beach State and Miami.

* The Aztecs are 13-1 in road/neutral games this season.

* The Aztecs have won 14 straight games vs. unranked squads at road/neutral sites.

* San Diego State was 20-for-22 from the free-throw line (90.9 percent), its best performance of the season (min. 15 FTA).

SERIES NOTES
* The Aztecs have won four straight, and seven of the last eight, over UNLV for the first time in the history of the series.

* SDSU is 4-1 in its last five at Thomas & Mack Center. During that span (since Dec. 17, 2008), the rest of the country is 6-33 against UNLV at the Thomas & Mack Center during that same span.

* SDSU has swept the season series for just the third time in the history of the series (2006, 2009, 2011).

* Of SDSU's 19 all-time victories against UNLV, Steve Fisher has been the head coach for 15 of those wins. The Aztecs were 4-17 against the Rebels prior to his arrival on campus.

* San Diego State now has active school-record winning streaks against four MWC teams (Colorado State 8, TCU 6, Utah 4 and UNLV 4).

* Including Mountain West Conference tournament play, San Diego State has won its last four games at the Thomas & Mack Center and is 7-2 in the facility since the beginning of the 2008-09. During that stretch, the Aztecs have four wins over UNLV.

* Seniors D.J. Gay and Billy White record their sixth victory against UNLV. That is the highest total by any San Diego State player in school history.

* SDSU outshot UNLV, 42.6-37.9 percent. The team with the higher field-goal percentage has won nine of the last 11 meetings.

* The Aztecs have outrebounded the Runnin' Rebels eight straight times.

* San Diego State has held UNLV to 40.3 percent or less from the field in eight straight meetings.
