SDSU Game Notes vs. Colorado State in PDF Format
The San Diego State women's basketball team finishes out the first round of conference play Wednesday, when it plays host to Colorado State beginning at 7 p.m. PT at Viejas Arena.
The Aztecs are looking to end their third, three-game losing streak of the season as they dropped a pair of league outings last week to Brigham Young on Wednesday and at Wyoming on Saturday. SDSU continues to be on the losing side of close contests with nine of its 11 defeats coming by a margin of 10 points or less, including all five in conference action.
Colorado State, meanwhile, is currently in fourth place in the MWC standings with a 4-3 record and an overall mark of 11-9. The Rams have back-to-back victories over Air Force and Utah and also picked up league wins at home against New Mexico and UNLV.
San Diego State has won each of the last six meetings with CSU and four straight at Viejas Arena, dating back to the 2007 campaign. The six wins in a row comprise the Aztecs' longest active win streak against any current Mountain West Conference school.
Wednesday's contest will be streamed live with Chris Ello calling the action courtside, while in-game stats will also be available on goaztecs.com.
