March 12-13, 2011, ID Camp Flier in PDF Format
The San Diego State men's soccer team will host two camps, head coach Lev Kirshner announced. The first will be an ID (individual development) camp and will be held on March 12-13, 2011, while the second will be a goalkeeper camp on April 2-3, 2011.
The ID camp will begin on March 12 (Saturday) and will run from 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. The following day, the camp will run from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. The ID camp costs $195 ($175 for a group of six or more) and includes lunch on Saturday and an Aztec t-shirt.
The Aztec soccer ID game is open to any and all male prospective student-athletes. Players will get first-hand experience of SDSU's athletic facilities and campus, while learning about NCAA recruitment and competition from Aztec coaching staff and players. The camp is perfect for any player who is contemplating playing soccer at the collegiate level.
The goalkeeper camp, meanwhile, runs from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. each day (April 2-3). The cost for the goalkeeper camp is $210 and includes lunch each day.
The Aztec soccer goalkeeping is a chance for any male goalkeeper, who is at least 14 years old, to get first-hand experience of a collegiate training environment. The first and most important mission of the camp is to provide young goalkeepers with great training, while educating them about their position. The second is to educate participants about the recruitment process.
