After playing four games in a span of eight days, the San Diego State women's basketball team (2-4) will finally get back to action for the first time since Nov. 30, as the Aztecs continue their near month-long road swing with a Tuesday evening game at Pepperdine. Tip-off is slated for 7 p.m. PT, in Malibu, Calif., at Firestone Fieldhouse.

SDSU is coming off a huge victory over the University of San Diego last week, as the team rallied from a 12-point deficit with 8:25 left to play to force overtime and pull off the 72-63 decision. The win snapped the Aztecs' four-game losing streak at Jenny Craig Pavilion, which dated back to 2002, when the two cross-town foes resumed their annual series.

Pepperdine enters the 20th all-time meeting between the two sides with a 5-4 mark, including a victory at Oregon State in its most recent contest on Friday. The Waves have already played two common opponents with the Aztecs in Nevada and UC Irvine (both sides went 0-2), and are led by junior Jazmine Jackson, who hit the game-winning shot in Pepperdine's overtime win at SDSU a year ago to snap the Aztecs' 18-game regular-season home win streak.

The contest with the Waves will be SDSU's final game for the next 11 days, as the team takes a break for final exams. Chris Ello will have the live audio broadcast on goaztecs.com, which will also feature a link for live stats.
