- San Diego State finishes the season with a 9-4 overall record, posting the school's most wins in a campaign since the 1977 squad went 10-1 ... The Aztecs posted their first winning season in 12 years since the 1998 squad went 7-5 (also last time SDSU play in a bowl game).
- SDSU is 3-0 all-time against Navy with all three victories coming in San Diego ... SDSU has outscored the Mids 136-59 in the three meetings ... Aztec head coach Brady Hoke is 3-0 all-time as a head coach vs. Navy with the other two wins coming when he was at Ball State.

- SDSU has scored 21 or more points in 14 straight outings. It matches as the team's longest such streak since a 14-game streak from Nov. 25, 1989 to Sept. 14, 1991 ... - Ronnie Hillman, Freshman RB: Named Poinsettia Bowl Offensive MVP ... Ran for over 200 yards for the second time this season, matching his previous career-best of 228, which he also posted at No. 25 Missouri ... First Aztec to rush for 200 or more yards twice in a season since Lynell Hamilton ran for 220 yards vs. Samford and 218 yards vs. Wyoming also as a freshman in 2003 ... Recorded 100 yards rushing for the sixth time this year, which is tied for seventh in Aztec single-season history with Larry Ned (2001) and Tony Allen (1979) ... Has posted consecutive 100-yard rushing performances for the second time this year, after putting up 152 yards in the regular-season finale with UNLV ... All six of his 100-yard rushing games are for more than 150 yards ... Scored his 15th, 16th and 17th rushing scores of the year, which is fifth-most in school season history .... Caught his first TD reception in the fourth quarter and added another rushing score to give him 18 total TDs on the year, which is tied for fifth best in overall scores in Aztec single-season history ... Scored his 23rd career receiving TD and 10th of the campaign, tying for 7th in school single-season history ... Set a Poinsettia Bowl record for most receiving yards in the first quarter alone, surpassing the previous mark held by David Anderson of Colorado State (126 yards in 2005) ... Moved into fourth in receiving yards in a season and is the sixth Aztec to reach the 1,300-yard mark in school history.
- Ryan Lindley, Junior QB: Threw a pair of touchdowns tonight, bringing his season total up to 28, which is third-most in Aztec history and most since Billy Blanton tossed 29 in 1996 ... Now has 67 career passing scores, which ties him for second with Blanton (1993-96), in the SDSU record book ... Moved into third in single-season passing yards ... Has thrown at least two passing TDs in a game nine times in 2010, and has 10 in his last three outings.
- Andrew Preston, Senior DB: Named Poinsettia Bowl Defensive MVP ... Posted his team-leading third interception of the season and third of his career ... Moved into ninth in Aztec career history with unassisted tackles.
- DeMarco Sampson, Senior WR: Has caught a pass in 27 consecutive outings ... Ended his career with 2,242 yards receiving to rank ninth in school history.
- Miles Burris, Junior LB: Had 20 tackles for a loss on the year to tie for eighth in school season history
