SAN DIEGO -

With just four days left until San Diego State's first bowl appearance in 12 years, there are a number of scheduled events involving the Aztecs, including some that are open to the public, leading into Thursday night's San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl.

The schedule of events is listed below:

Monday, Dec. 20, Oggie's Grand Prix: Players and coaches from both San Diego State and Navy will race karts on an indoor quarter-mile asphalt track at Miramar Speed Circuit.

Tuesday, Dec. 21, Team Day at San Diego Zoo: Canceled due to inclement weather

Tuesday, Dec. 21, Poinsettia Bowl Gaslamp March: Canceled due to inclement weather

Tuesday, Dec. 21, Aztec Warrior Party: Come in from the rain and join fellow Aztec fans at Jimmy Love's (672 Fifth Avenue, Downtown). Tickets are $50 and include heavy appetizers, one drink ticket and live music. Head Coach Brady Hoke will make a special appearance. All ages are welcome and tickets can be purchased through Mandy McKinley with the Aztec Club at 619-594-7924.

Wednesday, Dec. 22, AT&T Team Luncheon: Fans have the opportunity to dine with players and coaches aboard the USS Midway. The Battle of University Bands will begin at 11 a.m., followed by lunch in the hangar bay at noon. Tickets are $45. For more information, visit poinsettiabowl.com.

GAME DAY - Thursday, Dec. 23, Aztec Village Pregame Tailgate: Aztec Village will be open from 2-4:30 p.m. for a pregame tailgate party in the F2 section of the Qualcomm Stadium parking lot. Tickets are $20 for lunch only and $40 for lunch and inclusive beer and wine. The tailgate is both family and kid-friendly welcome and tickets can be purchased through Mandy McKinley with the Aztec Club at 619-594-7924.

Thursday, Dec. 23, Aztec Warrior Walk: Is slated for 3:05 p.m. in the Qualcomm Stadium parking lot. Join the Aztec Marching Band Drumline as they lead the team to the stadium from the team bus stop. All fans are encouraged to attend.

Game tickets are still available for SDSU's first bowl appearance since 1998. Fans can purchase tickets by visiting Ticketmaster.com, by calling 1-800-745-3000 or by contacting the San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl ticket office at 619-285-5039.

The San Diego State ticket office will be open this week at Qualcomm Stadium on Thursday only, beginning at noon, for any game-day service requests regarding tickets previously purchased through SDSU only.
