SAN DIEGO -

Ticket and Promotion Update

Tonight's game between No. 11/10 San Diego State and Big West preseason favorite UC Santa Barbara is sold out. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. PT inside Viejas Arena.

SDSU is enjoying its best start to a season in the program's 90 year history. The Aztecs moved to 11-0 after defeating Cal Poly on Monday night, 51-45, despite missing two starters due to illness.

UC Santa Barbara visits Montezuma Mesa riding a three-game winning streak. On Wednesday, the Gauchos went into the Thomas & Mack Center and defeated No. 22 UNLV, 68-62. UCSB is one of just four 2010 NCAA Tournament teams (SDSU, UNLV and Florida) to return all five starters. They are led by preseason all-Big West selections James Nunnally and reigning conference player of the year Orlando Johnson. Both players average more than 20 points and six rebounds per game.

Fans are encouraged to attend a postgame autograph session with the players.

San Diego State officials also announced that fewer than 1,000 public tickets remain for key Mountain West Conference matchups against UNLV (Jan. 12) and BYU (Feb. 26).

Tickets for future games are available online, 24 hours a day at GoAztecs.com, at the Aztec Ticket Office at Qualcomm Stadium, Window E (open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.) and at the Viejas Arena ticket office (Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. - 6 p.m.; Friday from 7:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.). Advance purchase of single game tickets is strongly recommended. Current SDSU students, meanwhile, can pick up tickets at no cost by showing a valid RedID at the Viejas Arena ticket office.
