TEAM NOTES
* The Aztecs rallied from 22 points down with 11:15 left in the first half to record the nine-point win. The winning rally was SDSU's largest deficit overcome in a win in the Steve Fisher era. Prior to tonight, the largest deficit overcome for a victory was an 18-point rally vs. Monmouth on Nov. 22, 2004, when the Aztecs trailed the New Jersey school, 26-8, with 10:58 left in the first half, before emerging with a 69-65 decision.
* San Diego State improves to 3-0 for the first time in three seasons. Prior to this season, the Aztecs last 3-0 start occurred in 2007-08.
* The Aztecs have now won their first three road/neutral games to open a season since 2007-08.
* SDSU has won its last 13 games against non-ranked opponents.
* San Diego State has won eight of its last nine games and 12 of its last 14 dating back to last season.
* The Aztecs won their first-ever game against the Horizon League. SDSU is now 1-1 against the league. Its only other meeting occurred in 2005 against Illinois-Chicago at the BP Top of the World Classic in Fairbanks, Alaska. Steve Fisher-coached teams are 12-1 vs. the league.
* San Diego State shot a season-best 60.4 percent from the field (29-48), including 70.8 percent in the second half (17-24). The Aztecs have shot over 50 percent from the field in all three games this season.
* SDSU outrebounded the Phoenix, 40-30, marking the third straight game this season the Aztecs have finished with an advantage on the boards. * The Aztecs dominated the paint as they outscored Green Bay, 54-24, in the painted area.

* Malcolm Thomas (12 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 blocks) - Scored in double-digits for the first time this season and for the 18th time in his Aztec career... The 12 points is a season high... Had three assists, marking the second time he has led the team in the category this season; he has led the team in assists 12 times in his SDSU career... Blocked two shots, which is a season-best.
