SPOKANE, Wash. - Postgame quotes from San Diego State head coach Steve Fisher following the Aztecs 79-76 victory over 11th-ranked Gonzaga.

On Billy White:
"He was absolutely phenomenal and he made some just sheer-will, athletic plays that win for you. When he pursues the ball the way he did tonight, he is going to get a lot of balls. We could not have done it without him. This had to be Billy's best game of his San Diego State career."
On the 2010-11 San Diego State team:
"We have a good basketball team. We have a long, athletic, smart, tough team that most importantly plays very hard and they share the basketball. They get caught in the most important thing, which is how can I help this team win."
On the bench:
"We had fantastic play off the bench. Brian Carlwell came in and played like a seven-footer that was intent on doing his job and he did a great job. We have a good team and we are collectively successful. It is not just the Kawhi Leonard show, and he knows that. We have a lot of guys that compete hard, that like one another and they are really committed to doing the defensive and dirty work that wins for you. We had 18 offensive rebounds tonight against a huge team."
On the significance of defeating Long Beach State and Gonzaga:
