LOS ANGELES - San Diego State senior Olivia Colman was ousted from the singles qualifying consolation draw on Thursday at the Riviera/ITA All-American Championships at Riviera Tennis Club.
A native of Los Angeles, Colman competed on Thursday after rain forced the postponement of her match that was scheduled for Wednesday. The senior took on 68th-ranked Nelly Ciolkolwski of Clemson and was downed in straight sets, 6-2, 6-0.
San Diego State will return to action Thursday, Oct. 21, when it plays host to the USTA/ITA Regional Championships at nearby Barnes Tennis Center. The five-day tournament is the third of four scheduled tourneys for the Aztecs this fall.
