SAN DIEGO - Mini-plans for the 2010-11 San Diego State men's basketball season are now available.
The five-game plan represents a $15 savings from regular season pricing, and fans will receive a $25 gift card to Sammy's Woodfired Pizza for each plan purchased.
Each $60 mini-plan includes five Saturday games in select areas. Tickets are available in Section H, rows 24 through 29, as well as Sections A, B, and V in rows 18-21. It is a limited time offer, and subject to availability.
The package includes Saturday games against crosstown rival San Diego (Dec. 11), Wyoming (Jan. 29), TCU (Feb. 5), the highly anticipated matchup against BYU (Feb. 26) and the Senior Night regular season finale against Colorado State (March 5).
The Aztecs return nine letterwinners and all five starters from last season's 25-9 team. Steve Fisher's squad is one of just four 2010 NCAA Tournament teams that returns its entire starting lineup in 2010-11.
SDSU enters the 2010-11 season fresh off one of its most successful efforts after winning the MWC tournament crown and advancing to the NCAA Tournament. The Scarlet and Black have won 20 or more games and advanced to the postseason five consecutive seasons.
Both season and mini-plan tickets are available online at GoAztecs.com, as well as in person at the SDSU Ticket Office at Qualcomm Stadium (Window E) and by phone at (619) 283-7378.
Those interested in purchasing season tickets and mini plans can also do so this Saturday, Oct. 23, at San Diego State's "Trick or Treat, Select a Seat" event. Fans will be able to watch women's basketball practice inside Viejas Arena from 2-3 p.m., and then watch the men work out from 3:15-4 p.m. In between the two practices, head coaches Beth Burns and Steve Fisher will address those in attendance.
The seat selection and open practices are both free to attend, but $1-per-hour parking permits should be purchased at Parking Structure 5 (PS5), located on the corner of 55th Street and Montezuma Road. Candy will be available for all children in attendance.
