SAN DIEGO - The San Diego State softball team will play host to the National Pro Fastpitch All-Stars on Friday, Nov. 12, at SDSU Softball Stadium. The game, in conjunction with the NPF's "Back to School Tour," will begin at 6 p.m. PT.

Team NPF is comprised of athletes from all four of the NPF teams - Akron Racers, Chicago Bandits, Tennessee Diamonds and USSSA Florida Pride - and includes an accomplished list of competitors. Two-time U.S. Olympian Cat Osterman is the most notable athlete of the athletes who have played so far. Osterman was a four-time collegiate All-American at Texas, where she tossed 20 no-hitters and 10 perfect games over her career.

The NPF team will make 18 stops on college campuses across the country, competing against some of the nation's best college programs in their fall exhibition seasons. The tour kicked off Sept. 10 in Memphis, Tenn., and will conclude Nov. 15 in Daytona Beach, Fla.

As of Oct. 18, the NPF team has compiled a 13-0 record, outscoring the opposition, 112-6.

Tickets for the event are $5 and are available by calling the Aztec softball office at (619) 594-2345.
