SAN DIEGO - 2010 SDSU-SWBA Clinic Photo Gallery
For the third year in a row, the Aztec basketball team played host to a clinic last Thursday evening for the San Diego Senior Women's Basketball Association (SWBA) at Viejas Arena. About 40 players from the league, which includes women from 50 years old to 80-plus, turned out for the event.
SDSU head coach Beth Burns and Aztec student-athletes were on hand to run through fundamental drills, including passing, dribbling and shooting, for about an hour and a half.
The San Diego Senior Women's Basketball Association competes at the Mission Valley YMCA and has previously won numerous medals at national championships, including the Senior Olympics. They play three-on-three, half-court games all year around and are great supporters of the Aztec women's basketball program.
