SAN DIEGO - The San Diego State Aztec baseball program will hold its Underclassmen Day on Saturday, Nov. 6, for current high school freshmen, sophomores and juniors. The event is a chance for prospective college players to learn about the university and the SDSU program as well as provide general information on the college athletic experience and recruiting process.

The day will get underway at 10:00 a.m. for players and their families with presentations by San Diego State's Athletic Director, Compliance Officer, Strength and Conditioning Coach, Academic Adviser and the baseball coaching staff.

Attendees will then be broken up into groups for a tour of the campus and facilities with lunch provided at a reasonable cost at the conclusion of the tour. The day will conclude with an opportunity for the student-athletes and families to view the final game of the Aztecs' annual fall Red vs. Black Intrasquad World Series at Tony Gwynn Stadium.

Underclassmen Day is a chance for non-senior high school student-athletes to learn about the SDSU baseball program inside and out. There is no charge to the student-athletes or their families (other than for lunch if desired).

Individuals interested in attending should contact SDSU Assistant Coach/Recruiting Coordinator Eric Valenzuela either via e-mail (evalenzuela@mail.sdsu.edu) or by phone (619) 594-6582
