SAN DIEGO - San Diego State senior wide receiver Vincent Brown has been named to the College Football Insiders (CFI) All-America team. The Rancho Cucamonga native earned a spot on the honorable mention list.
Brown is one of just 10 players from the Mountain West Conference to be recognized by CFI. He enters his senior season with 140 career receptions, already the 10th most in SDSU history.
Prior to an Oct. 24 injury that ended his 2009 campaign, Brown ranked top 10 nationally in receiving yards, receptions per game and all-purpose yards. He also exceeded 100 receiving yards in five of his six contests and was one of just five juniors to make the Biletnikoff Award semifinal list.
Brown and the rest of the Aztecs kick off the 2010 season at home against Nicholls State on Sept. 4. Season tickets for 2010 are currently on sale, starting at just $56 for six games. Tickets are available through the San Diego State ticket office at (619) 283-7378.
