SAN DIEGO - San Diego State head football coach Brady Hoke and his staff hosted the second annual SDSU Women's Football Academy on Saturday, June 5. The event at the Aztec Athletics Center raised $6,000 for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation for breast cancer research.

The event gave women the chance to learn the ins-and-outs of football. The approximately 125 attendees participated in drills with the coaching staff and competed in football games and enjoyed a lunch from Claim Jumper. All participants received a Women's Football Academy T-shirt, as well as a gift bag.

The second annual event improved upon last year's successful debut of 80 participants and $3,800 in donations.
