FORT COLLINS, Colo. - The San Diego State softball team lost an 8-2 decision to Colorado State in Fort Collins, Colo., Thursday night.
Sophomore Justeen Maeva (San Diego/Mira Mesa HS/Cal State Bakersfield) had two hits and and an RBI, while freshman Kristin May (Corona, Calif.) had an RBI single. Sophomore Ashley Rose (Antioch, Calif.) also singled for the Aztecs.
Junior Samantha Beasley (San Diego, Calif./Steele Canyon HS) struck out six in the loss.
The Aztecs will be back in action Friday at New Mexico at 6 p.m. MT.
