SAN DIEGO - San Diego State men's basketball head coach Steve Fisher is set to be honored, along with San Diego Mayor Jerry Sanders, during the "Life Without Limits" annual awards dinner on Tuesday, May 18, at the San Diego Marriott Hotel & Marina. The dinner benefits United Cerebral Palsy (UCP).

Both Fisher and Sanders will be presented with the prestigious "Life Without Limits" award for their outstanding achievements and community contributions.

Fisher, who is fresh off his 11th season at SDSU, guided the Aztecs to the NCAA Tournament this past season and has led the Scarlet and Black to five straight 20-win campaigns and five consecutive berths in the postseason.

A no-host reception is slated for 6 p.m., and will be followed by a dinner, auction and awards ceremony at 7 p.m. Proceeds from the evening will benefit UCP of San Diego County.
