SAN DIEGO - The San Diego State rowing team will travel north to Sacramento to participate in the NorCal/SoCal Challenge this Friday and Saturday, April 17-18, at the Port of Sacramento. The Aztecs will compete in dual races against Loyola Marymount, St. Mary's and UC Davis during the weekend meet.
Competition will include a Varsity Eight and Second Varsity Eight boat against each opponent. Novice Eight or Novice Four races will also be contested depending on the opponent, In addition, SDSU will race its Varsity Four against both Loyola Marymount and UC Davis.
The Challenge gets under for San Diego State when it faces Loyola Marymount on Saturday (April 17) morning (8:00-9:45 a.m.). SDSU will then take on St. Mary's that same afternoon (3:00-4:45 p.m.) and finish up with races against UC Davis on Sunday (April 18) morning (8:00-9:45 a.m.)

From the US-50 EAST or the I-80 WEST:
Exit at Harbor Blvd toward the Port of Sacramento. After continuing on Harbor Blvd, turn right on Industrial Blvd. Turn left into the gate after approximately 200 yards. Follow the paved path to the right around the perimeter of the Laborer's Training Center. Please observe the 15mph speed limit on this road. When the paved path dead ends, turn right down the dirt path toward boathouse. * Best place to watch the races is from the Industrial Blvd. bridge
