2010 San Diego State Football Schedule in PDF Format
San Diego State and the Mountain West Conference announced the Aztecs' football schedule for the 2010 season on Monday afternoon. Four non-conference games to open the year and six total home games highlight the 12-game schedule.
SDSU begins its 78th season of football on Sept. 4 with a home date against Nicholls State. Kick-off for the season opener is set for 5 p.m. PT at Qualcomm Stadium.
After a brief stay in San Diego, the Aztecs will hit the road for two straight games. San Diego State will play at New Mexico State on Sept. 11 at 6 p.m. MT before visiting Missouri on Sept. 18. Game time for the Aztecs-Tigers contest has yet to be determined.
Prior to the start of MWC action, SDSU will complete its non-league schedule at home vs. Utah State on Sept. 25. This game is slated for 5 p.m. PT.
With four non-conference games in the books, San Diego State will step into league play beginning with an Oct. 9 showdown at Brigham Young. The Aztecs and Cougars will hit the gridiron at 4 p.m. MT with The Mtn. HD picking up all the action from Provo.
The following week, SDSU returns home to play host to Air Force in a nationally televised contest on CBS College Sports HD. The Oct. 16 contest is set for a 5 p.m. PT start in Mission Valley.
After consecutive games against teams that earned bowl-game berths in 2009, San Diego State embarks on a two-game road trip with the first stop being Albuquerque, N.M. SDSU will visit New Mexico on Oct. 23 with kick-off scheduled for 8 p.m. MT (The Mtn. HD). Following its stint in the Land of Enchantment, San Diego State will head to Wyoming for a noon MT start on Oct. 30, which will be televised by The Mtn. HD.
With its longest MWC road trip behind them, the Aztecs will finish the season with three of their last four at Qualcomm Stadium. Colorado State will make the trip to America's Finest City on Nov. 6 for a 7 p.m. PT game (The Mtn. HD), before SDSU heads to Fort Worth, Texas, to take on reigning Mountain West champs TCU on Nov. 13. The Aztecs-Horned Frogs tilt is slated for 3 p.m. CT on VERSUS HD.
San Diego State will wrap up the season at home against Utah and UNLV. The Aztecs will play host to the Utes on Nov. 20 at 7 p.m. PT, before welcoming the Rebels to Qualcomm Stadium on Nov. 27 at 5 p.m. PT. Both the Utah and UNLV contests will be televised in high definition on The Mtn.
