With an eight-game win streak, including a pair of NCAA victories over top 25 foes, the San Diego State women's basketball team (23-10) returns to the Central time zone for a Sweet 16 match-up with sixth-ranked and No. 2 seed Duke on Saturday, March 27, at the FedExForum in Memphis, Tenn.

The game will begin a half an hour after the conclusion of the Tennessee-Baylor game, which starts at 9:04 a.m. PT. Approximate tip time for SDSU vs. Duke is 1:30 p.m. CT or 11:30 a.m. PT.

San Diego State is the lowest seed still alive in the 2010 NCAA women's tournament and is the lowest seed to advance to the Sweet 16 since No. 13 Marist did it in 2007. The Aztecs are also the first No. 11 seed to advance to the Sweet 16 since UCSB in 2004, and only the 12th double-digit seed to get this far in the last 16 years.

SDSU is making its third overall trip to the round of 16, but first since the tournament was expanded to 64 teams in 1994. The Aztecs went to the NCAA regional semifinals in both 1984 and 1985, when the tourney included only 32 teams.

Duke becomes the Aztecs' third consecutive top-25 foe and is the seventh ranked opponent that SDSU has faced this season. The Blue Devils are 29-5 overall, having won both the Atlantic Coast Conference regular-season and conference tournament titles. Duke advanced to its 12th Sweet 16 in its last 13 campaigns with victories at home over No. 15 seed Hampton (72-57) and No. 7 seed LSU (60-52).

Saturday's game will be televised live on ESPNHD, while Chris Ello will have the live audio call on Xtra Sports 1360. Live stats for all contests are also available on goaztecs.com.
