The San Diego State women's basketball team (16-10) plays its final Mountain West Conference road game of the 2010 season this Wednesday, as the Aztecs travel to Fort Collins, Colo., for a 7 p.m. MT/6 p.m. PT tip-off against host Colorado State at Moby Arena.

In the final week of league action and with only two games in the regular season remaining, SDSU still has a lot to play for when it comes to its final positioning in the MWC standings and its seeding for the conference tournament, slated for March 9-13, in Las Vegas, Nev. The Aztecs, who carry an 8-6 league mark, are currently a half game out of fourth place behind New Mexico and only trail BYU and Utah, which are tied for second, by a single game. What is known is that SDSU can do worse than the No. 6 seed and no better than the No. 2 seed.

The Rams, however, are not to be overlooked as they boast a 9-4 record on their home court and are currently 13-14 overall. Colorado State has claimed home victories over New Mexico and UNLV, although it has dropped seven of its last 10 outings, including a 59-38 loss to the Aztecs on Jan. 30, in San Diego. San Diego State has won each of the last five meetings overall with CSU.

Wednesday's contest will feature a live audio call with Chris Ello, as well as live stats on goaztecs.com.
