SAN DIEGO - The No. 6 San Diego State water polo team will play host to former Aztec water polo greats on Saturday, Jan. 30, in the team's annual alumni exhibition contest. The game's first sprint is set for noon PT at Aztec Aquaplex.

More than 25 former SDSU letterwinners are expected to be in attendance, including all-time leading goal scorer Holly Hartzell Edwards, career assists leader Elana Cervantes, career steals leader Megan Dunbar Bernard, and career ejections drawn leader Erinn Greenwood.

The 2010 Aztecs enter the exhibition with a 3-1 record after picking up wins over UC San Diego, No. 3 UCLA and Colorado State last weekend at the Michigan Kick-Off. The victory over the Bruins was San Diego State's first since 1995.

SDSU will look to post its third straight win over the alumni after losing the previous three seasons. Last year, the 2009 Aztecs emerged with an exciting 12-11 overtime victory.

Following the alumni contest, the Scarlet and Black will continue its regular season schedule on Friday, Feb. 5, when it welcomes Marist to Aztec Aquaplex. The Red Foxes are currently receiving votes in the latest top-20 poll. Game time is slated for 3 p.m. PT.
