SAN DIEGO - The San Diego State athletics department has made it even easier for fans to follow the Aztecs at any time with the excusive GoAztecs page on Twitter. The GoAztecs page will be updated daily with breaking Aztec news, scores, recaps and multimedia clips.
Fans can receive San Diego State athletics updates via Twitter on the web at the GoAztecs official Twitter page, on your mobile phone, via instant messaging or through e-mail. Aztec supports can also add the GoAztecs Twitter page to their own blog, Facebook page or other social networking site.
For those unfamiliar with the social network, Twitter is a free social networking and micro-blogging service that allows its users to send and read other users updates (also known as "tweets").
To follow GoAztecs on Twitter, log on here. If you would like automatic updates and you do not already have a Twitter account, you will need to click on the button in the upper-left hand corner of the page that says "Join Today!." By following GoAztecs, fans will be allowed instant access to up-to-date news about San Diego State athletics.
In an effort to provide fans with continuous updated information, GoAztecs will tweet from tonight's baseball contest against Nevada. GoAztecs will provide inning-by-inning updates from Tony Gwynn stadium in it's first ever tweet from a San Diego State athletic contest.
