  • San Diego State improves to 10-3 overall, matching its best start after 13 games in the last 25 seasons. The last time the Aztecs had a better record after 13 games was when the 1984-85 squad opened 11-2 and ended the campaign 23-8 and advanced to the NCAA Tournament. That season, SDSU played seven home games, two neutral games and four road games in its first 13 contests. This season, the Aztecs have played six home games and seven road games in their first 13 contests of the season.

Since that time, the Aztecs have knocked off Cal State Fullerton in 2004-05, Point Loma Nazarene, UC Santa Barbara and Loyola Marymount in 2005-06, UC San Diego, California, UC Riverside, San Diego and Loyola Marymount in 2006-07, UC San Diego and UC Riverside in 2007-08, UC San Diego, Fresno State, San Diego, UC Santa Barbara, Cal State Northridge and Saint Mary's in 2008-09 and UC San Diego, Santa Clara, Cal State Fullerton and UC Riverside in 2009-10.
  • San Diego State has won 14 consecutive home games played during the month of December.

  • Billy White - 13 points, 6 rebounds: White posted his eighth double-figure scoring game of the season and the 35th of his career with 13 points... White led the team in scoring for the fourth time this year and 10th time of his career.
  • Kawhi Leonard - 12 points, 6 rebounds: Leonard posted his sixth double-figure scoring game of the season... SDSU is now 6-0 when he scores at least 10 points in a game.
  • Malcolm Thomas - 6 points, game-high 7 rebounds, 6 blocks, 4 assists: Thomas blocked a career-high-tying six shots... The junior added a career-high tying four assists... Thomas led the team in rebounding for the sixth time this season.
  • Kelvin Davis: Davis established a season high for steals with his two against the Highlanders.
  • Brian Carlwell: Went 3-for-3 from the field and has now made 11 of his last 13 field goal attempts (84.6 percent)... On the season, he is shooting 65.7 percent (23-for-35) from the floor.
