* San Diego State wins its 12th straight non-conference home game, which improves upon the fourth-best streak in school history. A win on Saturday would move the streak into a tie for third all time.
* The Aztecs also win their fourth in a row and their ninth straight at home (vs. all opponents).
* SDSU improves to 7-2 on the season, which is exactly where last season's record-setting team was at after nine games. The 2008-09 squad finished with a school-record 26 victories.
* San Diego State wins its second straight in the series and improves to 21-10 all time vs. Cal State Fullerton. The two-game series winning streak is the Aztecs' longest since winning four straight (both regular season meetings) in 1977 and 1978.

* Kawhi Leonard posted his second double-double of his career and second in his last four games ... Leonard recorded his second straight double-figure scoring game and third of the season with his career-high 23 points ... His scoring performance is his first 20-point game of his career and his 23 is the most that any Aztec has scored in one game this season ... The double-figure rebounding effort is his third of the season, while his 18 is a career best and most by an Aztec since Marcus Slaughter had 20 on Jan. 14, 2006 at home against UNLV ... His 18 rebounds is the second-most in Viejas Arena history, trailing Slaughter's 20 in 2006 ... The freshman is the 23rd player in SDSU Division I history to pull down at least 15 rebounds in a game ... His 18 rebounds are the most by a SDSU freshmen since Michael Cage grabbed 20 on Feb. 24, 1981 against Hawai'i ... Leonard also set a career high for assists with five ... Leonard's 18 boards were just seven short of Cal State Fullerton's combined total of 25 ...
