TEAM NOTES

* San Diego State claims its fourth straight win in the series, which is its longest winning streak over the Toreros since posting six straight victories from 1979 to 1984.

* San Diego State has now won its last eight overtime games. The last three have come on the road.

* SDSU improves to 24-17 in the overall series and is now 3-2 against USD inside Jenny Craig Pavilion. San Diego State is perfect in its last five at Jenny Craig Pavilion when you include its 2009 NIT second round win over Kansas State.

* San Diego State and Steve Fisher have won seven of the last eight meetings with San Diego. The seven Fisher victories are the most for any coach in the history of the series.

* The Aztecs have now won consecutive games on USD soil for the first time since winning on Dec. 9, 1967 and Feb. 3, 1970.

* San Diego State, which is 3-0 at home, evens its road record to 2-2 on the season with tonight's decision.

* Tyrone Shelley posted his fifth straight double-figure scoring effort with his 10 points ... The sophomore had a season-high three blocked shots and matched his career high with three assists ... His six rebounds ties his season best ... Shelley was 4-for-4 from the line and his four makes matches his season high.

* Malcolm Thomas had a team-high 10 rebounds ... The junior has had 10 rebounds in two straight games ... His rebounding performance was his second double-figure effort of 2009-10 ... Thomas has led the team in rebounding five times this season.

* Billy White had a season-high tying eight rebounds ... The junior has grabbed eight rebounds three times this season ... White blocked a season-high two shots and matched his season high with his one assist ... White also had two steals, which ties a season high.

* Kawhi Leonard grabbed seven rebounds, including six on the defensive side of the ball ... Through seven games, the freshman has had at least seven rebounds on six different occasions ... Leonard added eight points.
