The San Diego State women's soccer team is headed to Los Angeles and UCLA for the first round of the 2009 NCAA Division I Championships. The Aztecs (14-3-5) will take on the University of San Diego on Friday, Nov. 13, in a game that is slated for an 8 p.m. PT start at Drake Stadium.

SDSU, unbeaten in its last 15 outings and winners of seven straight, will take on a Torero club that finished the campaign with a 12-6-2 record, while finishing in second place in the West Coast Conference.

The Aztecs, meanwhile, are fresh off their first Mountain West Conference tournament championship after defeating Utah in the semifinals and beating eighth-ranked BYU in Provo to earn the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.

This will be first time since 2006 that the two teams have squared off. San Diego State owns the all-time series lead, 6-4-1.

The winner of the SDSU-USD match will take on the winner of top-seeded UCLA (17-2-1) and Boise State (13-6-4) on Sunday in a second-round game scheduled for 1 p.m. PT.
