GAME WEEK RESET
SAN DIEGO STATE (11-3-5; 4-0-2 MWC) at TCU (9-8-0; 2-4-0 MWC)
Friday, Oct. 30 | 7 p.m. CT | Garvey-Rosenthal Stadium

AZTEC STORY LINES
- San Diego State completes its regular season schedule with a road game at TCU on Friday. The Aztecs are coming off a 2-0 week after defeating New Mexico at home, 3-1, and UNLV on the road, 1-0.

- SDSU is currently in second place behind Brigham Young in the Mountain West Conference and still has the opportunity to win the league title. To win the MWC title outright, the Aztecs need a win over the Horned Frogs and a Cougar loss to Wyoming. To claim a share of the crown, San Diego State needs a victory and a BYU tie. Regardless of any outcome, the Aztecs will finish no lower than second place and have secured a bye in the quarterfinal round of the Mountain West Championships.

- The Aztecs have won a season-best four straight matches. The streak is the school's longest since winning four in a row in September of 2002. A win on Friday will be the program's longest since it won six in a row back in 1999.

- San Diego State also takes a 12-game unbeaten mark into Fort Worth. The streak matches the 1998 team for the longest in school history. That group went 12 consecutive games without a loss and posted a record of 12-0 in the process. A win or draw at TCU will establish a new school record.

- For the second straight week, goalkeeper Aubree Southwick was named MWC Defensive Player of the Week on Monday. Southwick led the Aztecs to a pair of wins and a shutout of UNLV on the road to post her eighth shutout of the season. The Danville, Calif., native also made nine saves as she set the MWC school record with her fourth career weekly award.

- SDSU continues to move up the NSCAA Pacific Region poll rankings. A week ago, the Aztecs were tied for ninth place with Oregon State. In the most recent poll, released on Monday, San Diego State was slotted seventh along with the Beavers. Earlier this season, SDSU and OSU played to a 1-1 double-overtime tie.

- The Aztecs have allowed just one goal in their last four games, their fewest in any four-game span this season. In fact, it is San Diego State's fewest goals allowed in a four-game stretch since late in the 2007 campaign.

- What a difference a year makes. Last year, San Diego State went a combined 1-6-1 on the road and 1-8-2 in road/neutral games. This season, the Aztecs are an impressive 5-2-2 in road contests and their 11 overall wins is two more than any Mike Friesen-coached team. Friesen's first squad won nine games in 2007. The four league wins also matches the `07 for the most in the Friesen era.

- During its 12-game unbeaten run, San Diego State is 8-0-4 and allowing an average of 0.67 goals per game. The Aztecs have also outshot their opponents, 169-121, hold a 76-50 advantage in shots on goal and own a 57-40 lead in corner kicks.
