SAN DIEGO - The San Diego State women's soccer regular season home finale against New Mexico on Friday, Oct. 23, has been moved to 3 p.m. PT. The Mountain West Conference game at SDSU Sports Deck was originally scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. PT.
The Aztecs (9-3-5; 2-0-2 MWC) are unbeaten in their last 10 games and will welcome a Lobo squad that is 11-3-2 (3-2-0 MWC) on the season. The match is also designated as Senior Day and San Diego State's four seniors - Millie Allen, Allie Crowson, Jessica Gordon and Heather Vandevanter - will all be honored prior to the start of the game.
On Monday, Aubree Southwick and Niki Fernandes were named MWC Players of the Week for their efforts last week. Southwick, who was the league's defensive honoree, posted two shutouts and made seven total saves in wins at Wyoming and Air Force. Fernandes, meanwhile, was the co-offensive player of the week after recording a goal and as assist at Wyoming and leading the team in shots at Air Force.
