For the fourth straight year, the San Diego State softball team will play all of its fall games at SDSU Softball Stadium.

The busy schedule begins Friday, Oct. 23, with a game against Concordia University at 5 p.m. The following day, the Aztecs will face CSU Dominguez at 1 p.m.

The remainder of the fall schedule includes games against CS San Marcos (Oct. 30), Point Loma Nazarene (Oct. 31), Cypress CC (Nov. 6), Arizona Western CC (Nov. 7) and Santiago CC (Nov. 13).

On Nov. 14 at 1 p.m., SDSU will compete in a contest against a men's fast pitch team. It will be the final tune-up before San Diego State plays host to its annual alumni game on Nov. 21 (4 p.m.).

Admission to all fall softball events is free and the games do not count towards the 2010 season record.

In 2009, the Aztecs finished with a 33-20 record, earning a trip to the NCAA tournament for the fifth time in nine seasons and the third time over the past four campaigns. In addition, it was the first time in program history that SDSU was selected to two consecutive NCAA tournaments. San Diego State returns five starters, and all-conference pitchers Bailey Micetich (2009 MWC Freshman of the Year) and Samantha Beasley. The pitching duo teamed up last season to record a school-record 407 strikeouts.

The Aztecs' 2010 spring season schedule will be released early next week.
