SAN DIEGO - The San Diego State baseball program has announced its schedule of camps and clinics for the fall and winter beginning with weekly hitting instruction clinics every Wednesday evening over the next three months. In addition, the annual Aztec Winter Youth Skills Camp and the Aztec Winter High School Prospect Camp will be conducted in late December.
The weekly hitting clinics are open to any and all players and skills levels ages 8-18 on Wednesday evenings from 5:30-7:00 p.m. at Tony Gwynn Stadium on the San Diego State campus. Those sessions will be held every week from Sept. 16-Nov. 4 and Nov. 18-Dec. 16. The fee is $50 per session with instruction provided by the SDSU coaching staff.

The 2009 Youth All Skills Camp is set for Dec. 21-22 from 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. each day. The camp, open to all players between the ages of 8 and 12, offers the opportunity to receive offensive and defensive skill work, pitching skill work and base running along with games to help supplement the day's instruction. Cost of the camp is $125.
The 2009 High School Prospect Camp is for all prep players in grades 9-12 and will be conducted Dec. 28-29 from 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. The development of both offensive and defensive baseball skills as well as specialized instruction by position are part of the curriculum. Cost of this camp is $250.
Both the Youth Skills and the High School Prospect Camps offer two days of elite, professional instruction and the opportunity to meet and work with the Aztec baseball coaching staff. More information and registration for these SDSU baseball camps may be found by clicking here.
