SAN DIEGO - A school-record four Aztecs were named to the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches Women's All-America Team on Thursday. Anna Gonzales earned second-team recognition, while Jenna Schuster, Erinn Greenwood and Kelly Campoli garnered honorable mention accolades for their efforts during the 2009 campaign.

For Gonzales, the Fresno, Calif., native was voted to the All-American team for a third straight season. A senior utility player, Gonzales erupted for a team-best 92 goals this season. She scored multiple goals in 24 games and logged at least one tally in all 34 contests. Gonzales netted a team season-high seven goals against Long Beach State on March 8 and scored five or more goals on three other occasions. Gonzales' second-team appointment is her highest All-America honor during her four years at SDSU after being named to the third team in 2007 and to the honorable mention squad 12 months ago.

Similar to Gonzales, Schuster was named an All-American for a third consecutive year. A senior driver, Schuster was second on the squad with 65 goals in 2009. She found the back of the cage in 28 out of 34 contests and had 23 multiple-goal performances. Her 65 goals this season rank No. 10 on the SDSU single-season charts. Schuster was an honorable mention choice in 2007 and a second-team pick last season.

Greenwood, meanwhile, is a first-time All-America selection after totaling 40 goals, 28 assists and a team-high 101 ejections drawn from the two-meter position in 2009. The senior had five multiple-goal outings including a pair in the final two games of the season at the MPSF Tournament. In those two games vs. Hawai'i and Arizona State, Greenwood scored a total of six goals. In the MPSF game at California, Greenwood tallied a team season-high 12 ejections drawn.

Campoli, another first-time honoree, is the first SDSU freshman to garner All-America accolades since Holly Hartzell earned the distinction in 2001. The freshman goalkeeper played in 28 games and recorded a team-best 300 saves, which ranks fourth all-time on San Diego State's single-season chart. In addition to her save count, Campoli also had 40 steals and 15 assists. On two different occasions Campoli denied 17 shots in a game with her last effort coming against Arizona State in the season-ending win at the conference tournament.

This marks the 14th straight season in which San Diego State has at least one player earn All-America recognition and the fourth time in school history the program has had at least three players honored.

The Aztecs finished the year with a record of 23-11, marking their fourth straight 20-plus win season and their 12th in the last 15 years.
