SAN DIEGO - The San Diego State men's tennis team will hit the road beginning Sunday, April 19, to make up it's postponed Mountain West Conference matches. The Aztecs were to have faced UNLV, New Mexico and Air Force, March 27-29, but the matches were postponed due to inclement weather in Colorado Springs, Colo.
SDSU will first face UNLV on April 19 in Las Vegas at 3 p.m. PT. San Diego State has taken 14 out of the 21 all-time meetings between the two MWC schools. In last season's match-up, the Aztecs fell to the Rebels, 4-2, in Sin City.
After their trip to Las Vegas, the Aztecs will also travel to Albuquerque to take on New Mexico on April 21 at 2 p.m. MT. SDSU is 14-11 in the two institutions' all-time match-ups. In 2008, the Lobos topped SDSU, 5-2, in New Mexico.
The previously postponed match between Air Force and San Diego State has been canceled. The Aztecs are 13-10 overall this season and 1-2 in MWC standings.
