SAN DIEGO - The San Diego State football team continues its 2009 spring practice schedule under first-year head coach Brady Hoke on Saturday, April 18, with the team's first intrasquad scrimmage. Coach Hoke and his staff are planning to run 110-120 plays during Saturday's practice, which is slated to begin at 10:30 a.m. at the on-campus facility.
The workout will be open to the public and fans are asked to stay on the east side of the field. The scrimmage is expected to begin at 11 a.m. and it will last approximately two hours.
This is the second of four consecutive Saturdays in which fans can watch Aztec football practice. After Saturday, the team will have two remaining intrasquad scrimmages, with the third on April 25 at 10:30 a.m., and concluding with the annual Red & Black game on May 2, which is slated to begin at 11 a.m. at the SDSU Sports Deck.
