SAN DIEGO - The four women's basketball teams that will compete in this weekend's NCAA First and Second Rounds at Cox Arena will each hold practices that will be open to the public on Friday afternoon. Fans are welcomed to watch DePaul, San Diego State, Stanford and UC Santa Barbara as they prepare for the opening round. Admission to Friday's workouts is free and doors will open at 11 a.m.
Each team will receive an hour to practice on the Cox Arena floor. The No. 7 seed DePaul Blue Demons start the day off with the noon to 1 p.m. slot. The No. 10 seed and host San Diego State follows from 1:05 to 2:05 p.m. Second-seed Stanford (2:10 to 3:10 p.m.) and No. 15 seed UC Santa Barbara (3:15 to 4:15 p.m.) round out the afternoon.
Tickets to the NCAA women's basketball first and second rounds are now available to purchase. Ticket prices for single sessions are $17 for adults and $12 for youth 14-and-under and military. All session tickets are $32 for adults and $22 for youth 14-and-under. There will be no fee for parking on practice session days and fans are encouraged to park in PS 4.
Tickets are available to purchase at the Cox Arena Box Office, Aztec Ticket Office at Qualcomm Stadium window E or over the phone at (619) 283-7378. Ticket orders may also be placed over the internet by going to Ticketmaster.com.
