* - San Diego State advances to the championship game for the third time in Mountain West Conference tournament history and the fifth time in the school's Division I history. The Aztecs are a perfect 4-0 in league tournament finals, winning the PCAA title in 1976, the WAC championship in 1985 and Mountain West crowns in 2002 and 2006.

* - The Aztecs improve to 10-6 in away/neutral contests this season. San Diego State is an impressive 5-2 in its last seven road/neutral games.

* - San Diego State, which along with UNLV are the only two league schools to win multiple MWC tournament titles, can match the Runnin' Rebels tomorrow with a victory to claim its third MWC crown.

SDSU MEN'S AND WOMEN'S BASKETBALL NOTES

* - This is also the first time both SDSU men's and women's programs have advanced to a conference tournament final in the same season.
