SAN DIEGO -
The San Diego State softball team scored a season-high 12 runs on a season-high 13 hits in a 12-0, five-inning victory over Santa Clara Sunday night at SDSU Softball Stadium. The win gave the Aztecs (9-9) a 4-1 record over the week, including a 3-1 mark in the San Diego Classic I.
SDSU, which was playing its ninth straight game without senior All-American Erin Floros (San Diego, Calif./Mt. San Diego State scored its eight runs in the fourth off seven hits and two Bronco (1-9) errors as 13 batters came to the plate. In the fifth, 10 Aztecs batted in the four-run, four-hit frame.
