* San Diego State sweeps the regular-season series with UNLV for just the second time in school history and the first time since 2006 when they won both regular season meetings and the MWC tournament game.

* The Aztecs notch their 21st regular-season victory, matching the most wins during regular season play in SDSU Division I history.

* San Diego State posted its lowest winning score in the 45-game history of the series.

* SDSU posts its 11th Mountain West Conference victory, its second-most in the 10-year history of the league.

* With the win, San Diego State secures the No. 4 seed in next week's Mountain West Conference Championships and will face the same UNLV team for a third time this season.

Thomas connnected on his second and third three-point field goals of the season and first since Jan. 14 at Wyoming. ... Since that game, Thomas had gone 0-for-5 during that 12-game stretch. ...
