FRESNO, Calif. - After dropping yesterdays match against host Fresno State, SDSU men's tennis was able to rally and take the second match in as many days for the Aztec squad. San Diego State was able to take an early lead by winning the doubles point and finished off Middle Tennessee, 5-2.

Second doubles was the first to finish in doubles action with Juan Gomez and Bartosz Golas defeating Robert McKenzie and Morgan Richard, 8-4. First doubles was the only doubles match dropped by the Aztecs with Achim Ceban and Giovanni Vaglietti falling to John Peers and Victor Melo, 8-5. Third doubles was the last to finish with Andre Feliz and Tim Schulz van Endert clinching the doubles point for SDSU by downing Alex McCann and Kyle Wishing, 8-3.

San Diego State had the early lead by taking the doubles point but the score was quickly evened out by the Blue Raiders with McKenzie defeating Ceban, 6-3, 6-1, in first singles. Schulz van Endert was able to reclaim the lead for the Aztecs by downing McCann, 6-1, 6-2, in fifth singles. SDSU's Luis Rattenhuber was able to add to the lead by picking up a decision against Wishing in sixth singles, 6-3, 6-2. In third singles, Gomez was unable to overcome No. 72 Peers, ultimately falling, 7-6, 6-2. Golas took a victory in second singles, 6-4, 6-1, over Melo in second singles. In fourth singles, the last match of the day to finish, Vaglietti was able to pick up his first win of the day defeating Richard in a tough fight, 7-6, 3-6, 1-0 (11-9).

San Diego State will next compete at Pacific Coast Doubles in La Jolla, Calif. beginning on March 5 before returning home to face Georgia State on March 12.
