SAN DIEGO - The San Diego State women's tennis team looks to improve on its 6-3 record this coming Sunday, when the Aztecs play host to Sacramento State at 10 a.m. PT at the Aztec Tennis Center.

The Aztecs most recent outing was a trip north to face the USC Trojans on Feb. 24. SDSU was outmatched and fell to the Trojans, 7-0. In the outing in Los Angeles, USC handed No. 37 doubles team Holly Bagshaw and Julia Trunk their first loss of the season, dropping the duo's record to a record of 7-1.

No. 62 SDSU will face No. 35 Sacramento State at home on Sunday. The Hornets boast oneranked player in No. 62 Katrina Zheltova. Dima Hrynashka is in his third year at the helm of the tennis team. The Hornets are coming off a 5-2 win over Rice on Feb. 21. With the victory, Sacramento State improved its record to a perfect 7-0 on the season.

The Scarlet and Black look to defend their home turf and improve on their 2009 6-3 record on Sunday against Sacramento State. The contest is slated to begin at 10 a.m. PT at the Aztec Tennis Center.
