TEAM NOTES
* San Diego State avoids its first three-game road losing streak since the 2006-07 season with its victory over Colorado State.

* SDSU posts its seventh straight regular season win over Colorado State and fourth in a row inside Moby Arena. The Aztecs also recorded their eighth victory in their last nine tries against the Rams. ... The win is just the Aztecs' seventh all time at the venue.

* San Diego State improves to 15-5, a record that matches the school's second-best Division I start in school history. The 1981-82 squad also opened the year with 15 wins in its first 20 games. Only the 1984-85 tean started better with a record of 16-4.

* The Aztecs snapped the Rams two-game home winning streak with their second straight victory. SDSU's last two-game winning streak came back on Jan. 3 and Jan. 10 when it defeated Air Force at the Academy and Utah at home to open the conference season.

* SDSU finished the season with a 3-0 record in games played in the state of Colorado. The Aztecs defeated Northern Colorado on Dec. 3 (73-62), Air Force on Jan. 3 (61-44) and Colorado State tonight.

* San Diego State shot a season-high 56.9 percent from the floor and shot 50.0 percent or better for the fifth time this year.

* The Aztecs forced 20 turnovers, 10 of which came off steals. Their performance marked their second game in a row with exactly 10 steals.
