San Diego State Looks to Keep Pace in Competitive Mountain West Conference on Saturday at Colorado State
San Diego State (14-5; 4-2 Mountain West Conference) begins a two-game road swing in a four-way tie for first place on Saturday night as the Aztecs visit Moby Arena to take on Colorado State (7-14; 2-5 MWC). Game time is set for 7 p.m. MT/6 p.m. PT and the contest can be seen on The Mtn. (San Diego Cox Cable channel 320, DirecTV channel 616) with Mike Evans and Larry Mangino calling the action.

SDSU, coming off a big win over TCU on Wednesday and losers of two straight on the road, will look to create momentum going into its next game at UNLV on Tuesday. With four teams tied for the conference lead and seven teams separated by one game, the Aztecs will be in search of the elusive road victory as Mountain West road teams have been victorious only six times this season during league play. The Rams, meanwhile, have lost two straight, but have won their last two at home, including a 71-69 decision over UNLV.

Game Tidbits:
* San Diego State, winners of seven of its last nine, will look to avoid its first three-game road losing streak since the 2006-07 season when it fell at Brigham Young, at No. 13/11 Air Force and at UNLV.

* The Aztecs will try to become the first Mountain West Conference team to win two road league games this year. New Mexico and UNLV, however, will get their first cracks at it earlier in the day with the Lobos playing at Utah and the Runnin' Rebels taking on Air Force at the Academy.

* On Saturday night, the Aztecs will attempt to post their seventh straight regular season victory, their fourth inside Moby Arena and their eighth in their last nine overall tries against Colorado State.

* Senior Lorrenzo Wade is 37 points shy of reaching the 1,000-point mark in his SDSU career.
