SAN DIEGO - The sixth-ranked San Diego State water polo team was showcased on Monday morning's live San Diego 6 in the Morning with reporter Ruben Galvan. Head coach Carin Crawford and the Aztecs were featured during three live segments on the local newscast.
The No. 6 Aztecs are coming off a 12-11 overtime victory over the SDSU alumni on Saturday afternoon. Junior Ronnie Gautschi scored a game-high five goals for the Scarlet and Black in the victory.

San Diego State takes to the pool on Thursday, Feb. 5 when they host Hartwick in the 2009 season opener. Game time is set for 2 p.m. at the Aztec Aquaplex.
