SAN DIEGO - The San Diego State men's basketball game at Brigham Young, which will be televised nationally on The Mtn. (San Diego Cox Cable channel 320, DirecTV channel 616), will be simulcast locally on Channel 4 San Diego. Game time is set for 6 p.m. PT at the Marriott Center in Provo, Utah, on Saturday, Jan. 24.

San Diego State (13-4, 3-1 Mountain West Conference) is coming off a home victory over New Mexico as they outlasted the Lobos 81-76 on Wednesday night for their seventh straight home win. Senior Kyle Spain scored a career-high 30 points for the Aztecs, while classmate Lorrenzo Wade made four free throws in the final 34 seconds to seal the win and finish with 21 points.

Winning on the road at BYU (14-4, 2-2 Mountain West Conference) will be no easy task for the Aztecs, as the Cougars have won 55 of 57 games at home. The two time defending Mountain West Conference regular season champions were unable to stop UNLV on Wednesday night, as the Cougars fell 76-70.

Last season, SDSU was edged in the final moments in Provo, as the Cougars came away with the 59-56 win. BYU was picked to finish second in the 2008-09 MWC preseason poll, while the Aztecs were picked to finish third. Currently, San Diego State sits in a tie for second place with Utah and Brigham Young goes into the game in a tie for fifth.
